People around the world are concerned and also are supporting the Tibetans’ recent campaign of independence. As brothers of Tibetans, Mongolians are among them. Members of IMPP from Sweden, Japan, and the United States, took to the street with Tibetans to protest the Chinese harsh repression of the Tibetans’ peaceful demonstration.  In the meantime, members of IMPP also are protesting the recent arrest of IMPP member, Soyolt who was arrested in Beijing by the Chinese authorities on January 2008.

On March 25, members of IMPP Tokyo, held a demonstration in front of the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo.  Sechentu Tsetsent, executive director of IMPP Japan branch, gave a speech regarding the Soyolt Issue to the Chinese embassy.   He urged Chinese authorities to release Soyolt, who is also citizen of Mongolia, immediately without condition. In the end, along with the Tokyo police, Sechentu delivered the Petition to the Chinese Embassy.

 It is well documented that these kinds of irresponsible actions are done by Chinese authorities all the time. In addition, it is against the international humanity law to arrest foreign citizens without proper reason. Recent deportation of foreign journalists in Tibet is another proof of China's inhumane treatment of individuals.  So, how could China provide safety to the millions of foreigners in the Olympic Games?

 <New York, March 23,2008>

It is widely believed that China’s occupying the seat of United Nation Security Council is a joke.  Now there is going to be another joke. China, a Red Monster is holding the Olympic Games. “The Olympic flame will radiate light and happiness, peace and friendship, and hope and dreams to the people of China and the whole world,” Liu Qi, Beijing Games Chief. How ironic was that!

<Sweden, March 19,2008>

We urge the international communities to push Chinese authorities to indeed improve human rights in China. If China does not do so, the people around the world who love peace should boycott the Beijing Olympics until China reaches the requirements.  “No human rights, no Olympics” is our slogan to the people around the world.
