Chinese Authorities Released Jaranbayariin Soyolt

IMPP New York Jun 20, 2008 According to the source of IMPP, the member of IMPP, Jaranbayariin Soyolt was freed from Chinese detention and repatriated to Mongolia on June 17, 2008. IMPP welcomes the news of releasing of Jaranbayariin Soyolt, and thanks everyone who had been paying attention and working hard to push Chinese authorities to release Jaranbayariin Soyolt. However, IMPP still concerned about the health condition of Southern Mongolian dissident Mr. Hada who was sentenced to 15 years in prison for his activities to bring freedom and democracy to Southern Mongolia in 1996. According to the source of SMHRIC, there are more dissidents still in prison or under house arrest. Dr. Naguunbilig, a Mongolian physician who is serving his second year of a 10-year jail term for engaging in "evil cult", Ms.Daguulaa, wife of Naguunbilig, who is serving her second year of a 5-year house arrest for "conspiring" with her husband. Mr. Naranbilig who was recently put under a 1-year house arrest for attending international gatherings to protect the rights of the indigenous Mongolians.
